GLIMMERS
Have you ever wondered why we feel different things?
Sometimes it's clear. (If I get a hug, I feel happy. If I see a spider, I feel scared.)
Sometimes feelings can be confusing though, or they can get really stuck. But here's the cool part,: doing something creative can help us explore and make sense of these feelings. Like rock art. It's easy, it's fun, and it's a space where you can 'just be'.
GLIMMERS
Imagine walking along, feeling glum, when you look down and spot a Rock that is smiling up at you. Perhaps it just has a little picture, or maybe just a simple message.
Glimmers are little things that can change your mood, make you smile, give you hope. Why not leave some of your rocks around for someone to find. You never know, you might make someone's day a little better..
You need: :

Rocks. These might be ones you find or ones you buy from a garden centre. I find that the very smooth ones do not take the paint well and it washes off.

Paint/markers/nail polish.: Anything that will stick to the rock. I like to use permanent markers to outline and do the small features, however the surface can be pretty brutal on the nibs. The type of paint you use will determine how long your art lasts.

Sealant:. you don't have to seal your rock, but the image will last longer if you do. I used an outdoor paving sealant. I have also used a range of spray-on varnishes.

QR:code. If you want to hear from someone who has found your rock, you can pop a QR code on the back, or simply write some contact details (ie FB page).
